There is this myth of the conservative Christian. There is no monolithic theology out there. When you dig beyond the divisive issues, you find people have a vast diversity of belief. And that diversity affects more of our daily lives than the controversial issues. So what happens when you get someone in power who believes everything they think is God’s will? Does that mean everyone else needs to fall in line?
My friend Marty, with some interesting food for thought about the dangers of letting our theological passion turn into tyranny.
